Un estilista de Fresno, California, acusa a la alcaldesa de Kerman, Maria Pacheco, de haberlo seguido y confrontado el 14 de octubre al creer que era un agente del Servicio de Inmigraci\u00f3n y Control de Aduanas (ICE). Las acusaciones constan en una denuncia presentada por su abogado y no han sido probadas.<\/p>\n

Algunos titulares la llaman \u00abalcaldesa de Fresno\u00bb. Seg\u00fan la cobertura local de la denuncia, Pacheco es la alcaldesa de Kerman, una ciudad del condado de Fresno.<\/p>\n

Qu\u00e9 alega la denuncia<\/h2>\n

De acuerdo con la denuncia, descrita por el abogado del estilista, Roger Bonakdar, la alcaldesa lo sigui\u00f3 en su veh\u00edculo durante unos 25 minutos, desde las inmediaciones de Kearney Park hasta Fresno. El documento sostiene que le bloque\u00f3 el paso, lo grab\u00f3 y lo confront\u00f3 en la casa de un familiar. Seg\u00fan la denuncia, le habr\u00eda dicho: \u00abI’m looking for ICE and you look like ICE\u00bb (\u00abEstoy buscando a ICE y te ves como ICE\u00bb).<\/p>\n

El abogado afirma que su cliente no tiene ninguna relaci\u00f3n con ICE ni con el Departamento de Seguridad Nacional (DHS), que ha recibido amenazas desde el incidente y que existe video que respalda lo ocurrido. Esta redacci\u00f3n no ha visto ese video.<\/p>\n

Las quejas se entregaron el lunes 19 de octubre al Departamento de Polic\u00eda de Fresno y a la Unidad de Integridad P\u00fablica de la Fiscal\u00eda del Condado de Fresno. Piden que se investigue si hubo violaciones de las leyes de California sobre acecho y privaci\u00f3n ilegal de la libertad. Hasta la publicaci\u00f3n de esta nota, no se hab\u00edan anunciado cargos ni conclusiones de una investigaci\u00f3n, y ninguna de las dos instituciones hab\u00eda confirmado p\u00fablicamente una pesquisa.<\/p>\n
