La baja es peque\u00f1a frente al aumento anual.<\/p>\n<p>Hay diferencias grandes por regi\u00f3n. La Costa Oeste registr\u00f3 el promedio m\u00e1s alto, $5.557 por gal\u00f3n, y la Costa del Golfo el m\u00e1s bajo, $3.784. La pr\u00f3xima actualizaci\u00f3n semanal de la EIA est\u00e1 prevista para el 27 de octubre.<\/p>\n<h2>El petr\u00f3leo y la guerra con Ir\u00e1n<\/h2>\n<p>En su <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eia.gov\/outlooks\/steo\/report\/global_oil.php\">Perspectiva de Energ\u00eda a Corto Plazo<\/a>, publicada el 6 de octubre, la EIA indica que el petr\u00f3leo Brent promedi\u00f3 $114 por barril en septiembre, $23 m\u00e1s que en agosto. El m\u00e1ximo diario fue de $131 el 15 de septiembre.<\/p>\n<p>La agencia asume que los flujos de petr\u00f3leo de Oriente Medio seguir\u00e1n limitados durante el cuarto trimestre de 2026, con cierres de producci\u00f3n de 4.5 millones de barriles diarios. Para el Brent proyecta un promedio de $105 en ese trimestre, $87 en el segundo trimestre de 2027 y $74 en el cuarto trimestre de 2027.<\/p>\n<p>La pr\u00f3xima edici\u00f3n de ese informe saldr\u00e1 el 10 de noviembre.<\/p>\n<h2>Lo que dice la encuesta de Pew<\/h2>\n<p>He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/race-and-ethnicity\/2026\/10\/16\/the-economy-is-the-top-issue-for-latino-voters-in-the-2026-midterms\/\">Pew Research Center<\/a> public\u00f3 el 16 de octubre una encuesta hecha del 28 de septiembre al 4 de octubre a 5,062 adultos, entre ellos 774 votantes latinos registrados, en ingl\u00e9s y espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>86% de los votantes latinos registrados dice que la econom\u00eda es muy importante para su voto al Congreso. La cifra es 89% entre quienes apoyan al candidato dem\u00f3crata a la C\u00e1mara y 78% entre quienes apoyan al republicano.<\/li>\n<li>80% est\u00e1 muy preocupado por el precio de la gasolina y la energ\u00eda. En enero era 48%.<\/li>\n<li>74% dice que las pol\u00edticas del presidente Donald Trump empeoraron las condiciones econ\u00f3micas, frente a 61% en 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La encuesta mide percepciones y preocupaciones.
